The build

Holy Light Auradin

Holy Light Aura is meant to be a support skill. Dawnfire turns it into a damaging spell, so the whole paladin is built around one thing: keep Fortress up, pull everything in, and spam the aura.

Rotation

  1. Use Fortress, and keep it up the whole fight.
  2. Cast Aegis, Fanaticism Aura and Defiance Aura on cooldown once Fortress is up, thanks to Resplendence.
  3. Cast Condemn to pull enemies in and make them Vulnerable.
  4. Spam Holy Light Aura.

Defensive swap if needed: Squirt's Blouse for Aspect of Heavenly Strength.

Core Gear

  • DawnfireGloves. Required: makes the aura deal damage
  • Sundered NightWeapon. Required
  • Linta of Radiant FireTalisman set. Required
  • Leoric's CrownHelm
  • EnigmaChest armour
  • Blood-Mad IdolAmulet
  • Aspect of Glynn's AnvilPants
  • Aspect of InterdictionBoots

Active runes: Yul, Ceh, Igni and Que.

Holy Light Aura

The whole point. With Dawnfire equipped it stops being support and starts being the damage.

Fortress

Kept up at all times, and the trigger for everything else through Resplendence.

Condemn

Drags enemies in close and applies Vulnerable, so the aura hits everything harder.

Aegis

Cast on cooldown behind Fortress.

Fanaticism Aura

Cast on cooldown behind Fortress.

Defiance Aura

Cast on cooldown behind Fortress.

From the light

“Stand closer. It only hurts them.”
